Terms and conditions:

By entering the Competition, the Competitor agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Wedding and Function Garden Route may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any Competitor who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Please note there will be some financial cost involve for the prize winner. The venue and all time, effort and equipment will be sponsored. Food and Flowers will be supplied at cost price and all beverages will be for the winners own account. The Wedding date will be determined by the availability of the venue and other sponsors.

The winners’ Prize will consist of:

Wedding reception for the Bride & Groom to a maximum 60 guests.

1. To qualify for the competition, you or someone you know that is financially challenged needs to complete a letter of not more than 250 words stating why you should be the recipient of the prize.

2. Incorrect information will automatically disqualify the entrant.

3. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Winners must be prepared to be photographed and such photograph could possibly be used in future marketing material.

5. Closing date for entry is 14 February 2012 at 18:00.

6. The prize must be used before 1 November 2012

7. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Competitors must be unmarried, over 18 years and a South African resident at the time of redemption of the Prize.

9. The Competitor agrees to get legally married before they can redeem the prize.

10. The Prize Winner will be notified using the contact details provided with the entry. 

11. Each Competitor acknowledges that prizes in the Competition are provided by sponsors and agree that Wedding and Function Garden Route will not be responsible for the failure of any sponsor to provide a prize. Where goods or services are provided by a sponsor, the normal hire terms and conditions of that sponsor will apply.

12. The winning couple will agree to abide by the specific terms and conditions as laid down by each individual sponsor pertaining to the use of their respective goods and/or services. These conditions will be discussed by the sponsor at the time of booking the wedding ceremony & reception.

13. Should the winners of the competition choose not to use any sponsor, for whatever reason, that sponsor’s services will be forfeit and no further claim will be made against that sponsor or Wedding and Function Garden Route for that particular service.

14. The winning couple will agree to pay the cost of any damages to any property both movable and immovable, should damage occur during the course of the function.

15. To the full extent permitted by law, The Promoter will not be liable to the winners in respect of any claim for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, any consequential, indirect, special, punitive or incidental damages) or for any personal injury suffered by winners as a result of or in connection with Wedding and Function Garden Route.
